Park Factors

I have a question with regards to park factors.

On Fangraphs, they say that their park factors have been halved for use on full season stats.

So if I was trying to apply park factors to park-neutral projections, should I be doubling FG’s factors?

Hey there

That is correct. Fangraphs halve their park factors for full season use to back out home ballparks. As a result if you are using neutral projections, you should be doubling the park factors provided. We at DFS Doctors do a little more to our projections as parkfactors can be sometimes misleading.
